Ambient Light Concert

AmbientLight performs live improvised compositions using instruments as diverse as Native American Style Flutes, IPads, Didgeridoos, Miscellaneous Percussion, Guitars, ‘Found’ Sounds, a wide array of Keyboards, and Voices.
They create spontaneously, totally in the moment, giving life to what was fertile space for imagination and contemplation, creating music in genres both known and unknown.
Comprised of accomplished Pennsylvania Musicians Ralph Diekemper, Sterling Green Jr. and George Wallace, AmbientLight has emerged as a sonic brotherhood of sorts - a performing trio of kindred spirits who share a common vision of creating uncommon music. While the term ‘Ambient Music’ might be useful to describe what they do (George likes the term ‘Space Jazz’), it should be considered more of a starting point, as the structured, improvised journeys they take also involve a variety of components including World Music, Jazz, Native American, and Techno-Tribal…but no one ever knows exactly how things will turn out.
